Ever since the new Halloween movie was announced (with the return of Jamie Lee Curtis!), horror fans have been ravenous for any news surrounding this latest horror sequel. With the return of master John Carpenter, who will be scoring the new music, as well as the complete retconning of everything after the first installment, this new film continues to stay on our most anticipated list of 2018.
Then, last week, with the reveal of the first poster for the movie, we were all introduced to the new Michael Myers mask. Dirty and weathered, it is a direct representation of Myers’ final confrontation … including a certain coat-hanger accident.
And, of course, as a member of a bustling capitalistic state, you can now pre-order a replica of the new mask for the low, low price of $59.99. No matter how bad the test screenings seem to be going!
Released by Trick or Treat Studios, this is (of course) officially licensed, an exact replica made directly from the movie master, sculpted by Christopher Nelson, Vincent Van Dyke and the VP of Art Direction, Justin Mabry. Unfortunately the full mask is under wraps until July 23rd, so we’ll be F5’ing for the full reveal.
What are you waiting for? Join Jason in blindly spending $60 on something you haven’t fully seen yet (for full details, check out the pre-order page at Trick or Treat Studios.)
